Pros
You can learn as much as you want about taxes for $30/year. HRB also offers various certification levels where you get paid more for each higher level attained. It's a good part time seasonal income once you've been there a few years assuming you have leveled up and have a good size client base. After a while, I think you could make 10k each season no problem for 3 months of work. Higher if you are willing to tackle more complicated returns and if you have enough of those returns. I would say it's a good fit for those that are retired and want some extra income. Keeps your brain active too.

There is much responsibility with rather low pay.
