Upwards of 98% of the company is seasonally employed. This means you will work a max of 10 months out of the year. Some positions only last 2 or 3 months. You get fired at least once a year, though they call it End of Season. There is little upward mobility, despite what the recruiting pitch says. Yes, you can receive a "promotion" but it may or may not come with increased pay. Some floor agents make more money than supervisors. Turn over rate would be astoundingly high to outsiders, but current and former employees understand why people don't stick around. Few managers are promoted from within, and those who are have questionable skill sets.

This is a highly political company with constant turnover. They preach that they are a people friendly company yet every May there is the annual purge. Frequently followed by refilling the position later. Strategic Planning is non-existent rather is often done on the fly. As a result you can see by the results that they continue to lose clients at alarming rate especially under Cobb ( who profited handsomely). Even this past year they lost returns despite giving them away free. Since 2008 they have had 5 CEOs and are now looking for number 6. Its a company with no direction and a lack of talent at the top with a punitive style of management. Would not recommend to anyone as a place of employment.
