Not worth it

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Colleagues are very knowledgeable and willing to help

Cons

Low pay, no benefits, no work, life, and health balance. Management increases tax pro's work hours without notifications to meet the office's quota. The company expects tax pro to create every return in an hour, which is impossible for complicated or missing documents cases. The tax pro ended up with working extra hours for the returns on hold. Not worth it to hurt personal health to meet the company's goal. Will not work for tax preparation companies again.

Good Position but Low Pay

Business Outlook

Pros

Great environment, not a hard job, decent work-life balance since it isn’t full time.

Cons

Pay was $10/hr, other offices’ average pay was $14/hr. Job description mentions you’ll also be keeping the place clean (including bathrooms and cubicles) despite everyone sharing the office.

Pros

One pro is that They have a bathroom.

Cons

Poor training. Constantly switching schedules without informing me. Got thrown into the peak of tax season without proper training. Would not reccommend. Very low pay.
