Pros

You can file your taxes for free

Cons

Corporate is run by clowns, they want tax pros to sell their small business items for bookkeeping and payroll but there is no pay benefit to do so, it is a psuedo commission style job where your hourly rate can be minimum wage unless you build a client base, they tell you to do what ever you can to get a client to file but then deny the requested discount that was offered, poor communication in the company on all levels from the CEO down to office manager, they provide fake recognition by recognizing you for being "customer-centric". Prices for clients to file is rediculously high but you are expected to sell value for something you wouldn't pay yourself.

Pros

It is not a very physical job.

Cons

They can't fire anyone, because they are understaffed. Even if the employee is abusive, and makes mistakes, and lakes out at management and other employees. The company is in an outdated model basses on brick and mortar locations, so their fixed costs are high. Yet, customers number one complaint is price, so they can't pay employees well. What they do pay is based on commissions, so employees fight over customers instead of for customers. The missy toxic employees, and the low salaries drive many of the best employees away. They need to but the bullet and jump into today, instead of the slow crawl out of the 80's that they're currently on.
