      Pros

      I met a lot of good people, many of whom I still consider friends. I was promoted three times in just under six years.

      Cons

      The company claims to be client-focused, but much of upper management are unable to relate to the a typical client. Being unable to relate makes it difficult to the client's needs. After nearly six years, I was seeing the same problems that became the "elephant in the room."

      Pros

      Grateful clients. Brand recognition. Coworkers have a common bond (dissatisfaction with management), so you're not alone.

      Cons

      Very low pay, poor training, hard core pressure to sell "add-on products" to clients, management clueless as to the nature of actual tax work and the importance of trust and loyalty regarding the client relationship. It's about volume over value. The client experience is discussed but it's only words. When it comes to putting basic service principals into practice, the company falls short due to the constant focus on generating revenue.

      Pros

      Great work, very easy barrier to entry. Take their Income Tax Course, for three months dedicate yourself to taxes, come out pretty good at taxes! Great continuing education and benefits associated with advancement in rank/knowledge. Bonus after first year.

      Cons

      No bonus your first year. People who are cashiers but have a union make more money than you do. Only seasonal so after two months of working there you need to actively look for another job.
