Pros

You may meet some wonderful people and get experience with a wide variety of returns, but there is a lot of pressure-actually far too much stress to perform in a small window of time and to connect with the client and to convince them to return-to you-the following season.

Cons

The biggest downside to H&R Block is that you can never become a true professional. The business is simply too seasonal and the pay is far too low-----far far too low------to enable you to truly make a living.

Pros

Brand recognition, seasonal, flexible work hours

Cons

This company expects employees to jump through hoops during tax season, then will kick you to the curb on April 15th.

Pros

paid well. little pressure except for end of season. good job security if you are able to make the management happy.

Cons

little to learn, just filling orders and duplicating work done in the past year over year. no career potential at all.
