Pros

I really like that they will give you unlimited tax training for only $20 a year... But thats about it.

Cons

I don't like doing taxes for minimum wage, commission is a joke. I don't like the new setup for the tax training classes. I don't agree with the pricing for tax prep. I wish we were more focused on the people instead of shoving products they don't need and also cant afford, down their throats.

Pros

Flexible work hours during tax season. Tax classes offered through HR Block are some of the best out there.

Cons

Poor pay. Pay is based on a matrix between a set hourly rate and earnings per return. My hourly rate was dropped and was making less than the Secretary. Not worth the minimum wage pay for all the classes (18 hours of continuing education) you have to take every year and the liability you take on with the IRS. You are better off flipping hamburgers for same pay without all the responsibility.
