I have seen 17 year exp resource who is highly technical and hardworking still doing a lead role while 10-12 year exp " visibility stunt" people 2 or 3 levels higher than 17 year exp techie

Pod Managers are helpful, when Tax Specialists appear not to respect the Team Leader (Supervisor) of that office.

Cons

Long term Tax Specialists and CPA's appear to do what they want and do not follow new policy implementations that are announced. The Team Leader is not well respected, regardless if they are a certified tax specialist, or a well seasoned Supervisor.
