Low pay for busy season.

Very little on boarding training. Disconnect from corporate to field team, senior leadership out of touch with reality of declining business. Nitpicking, micromanaging, mistrust and lack of planning make a chaotic and negative work environment. Poor pay and confusing draw pay for front line employees. High turnover in all employee groups including retail managers. Many systems and process simply do not work. Unrealistic goals for both client count and revenue goals. Finance projections and analysis more often wrong then right. Antiquated equipment. Tax preparation fees are expensive, and consumer information is not adequality protected. No work life balance in recruiting, training and tax season, but that is only 6-7 months a year. Very high pressure, command management atmosphere.

pay rates during off season are not very competitive; not many benefits for seasonal employees

Poor management results in employees having a variety of internal means to attack and take clients business every day

no benefits low wage no loyalty to employees (you will be fired every year so they dont have to pay for your mandatory training next year)

Wish there were better benefits
