      Saying the right things but not following through

      Pros

      The company is easy to work for if you aren't looking to evolve in your career. If your goal is to find a company where you can work for 30 years and retire HGS is the company. The work isn't challenging and it is fairly consistent without any pressure.

      Cons

      If you are looking to have a voice in how things are done - this is not the place for you. Even through they bill themselves as a true international team if the idea doesn't come out of India they don't listen.

      Decent job to learn how to interact with people for someone just entering the workforce.

      Cons

      Company pays similarly low wages for CSRs who field complaint calls and CSRs who are required to do complex troubleshooting. Few opportunities for actual advancement.
