Pros

None. It was, without a doubt, the worst place I've ever worked.

Cons

Don't be mislead, you will probably get little to no bonus, increasing workload, be expected to do more and more work, not get credit for your work unless you buddy up with key people (who lie and are not professional and will provide no value to you away from HHS)

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry that your job did not work out for you. We pursue cultivating change from within, and while we have a lot to learn and long ways to go, we generally happy with the direction that we are headed. We aim to effectively identify and recruit experienced executives to make us a better company as opposed to using consultants. I wish you the best in your future endeavors. Thank you, Joe Terry, HHS CEO

Pros

None at all. There is absolutely no work life balance. The VP has nothing positive to say and is constantly criticizing any and all.

Cons

No respect for the individual employee. Opinions are dismissed. A major lack of trust by management for staff. VP level up is a joke.

I’m sorry to hear that you did not enjoy working with HHS. We do not currently have business in Louisville, so I’m not sure where you worked or what your situation may have been that led you to feel this way. If you would like to provide more information about what you experienced, I invite you to contact me directly at joet@hhs1.com. I wish you all the best in your future career. Thanks, Joe Terry, CEO

Pros

Good Salary for AD's and above

Cons

Work-Life Balance does not exist a, we ask so much of our hourly staff bit won't pay what they are worth, we under bid or under staff our accounts all for the sake of saving a dollar. Our AD's and Directors are basically asked to devote their lives 7 days weekly to an account but never do you see VP's and above do the same. We should staff all accounts regardless of size with enough management staff that no one has to sacrifice their families for a job.

I recognize that these responses that I provide can seem redundant, but it’s important to me personally to know your circumstances so that we can help. Much of what I speak to are generalities in looking at the whole company, but I do recognize that each person and each account is unique, and we can better help if we know your personal challenges and which account you are at. We do work in an industry that runs 24/7, and I understand that it is difficult to get away from work at times. By creating a well-organized schedule and training and empowering ADs and supervisors to act in your absence, work-life balance is possible. Outside of certain times like CMS prep, etc. the majority of our managers have been able to achieve this balance, and your vice president can be a great resource for helping you to put the systems into place to make this happen. If there is something at your account that is preventing you from doing this, we need to address it. From a company standpoint, please know that we routinely walk away from business or do not pursue business due to not having enough resources for our teams to effectively do their job. In the industry we run a higher compliment of hourly staff and managers than anyone else. We do have higher expectations and results, but again we have staff to accomplish this. Due to the current economic environment and such low unemployment, we have many accounts that are really struggling to staff, and this is an area where we can help. I also suggest reaching out to Sheldon Cash (sheldonc@hhs1.com), who is the EVP of Talent Acquisition and Development, as he has helped to coach many managers on work-life balance techniques and recruiting techniques that will help in this area. If you would like to discuss I welcome you to contact me directly at joet@hhs1.com. Thank you, and I very much appreciate you. Joe Terry, CEO
