8yThank you for your anonymous review. The fact that you say you are a current employee and choose to stay anonymous demonstrates your thinking. You did have the choice to come and talk to management about your concerns but clearly that was not done and frankly, reading the tone of your review, it is clear your intention is simply to lash out.
Besides, your review is racist at best. Harmonia is not an "Indian" company. The entire ownership of the company are US citizens. And we hire people based on experience and proven performance not race, ethnicity, gender etc. Its unfortunate that you see it differently but that doesn't make your viewpoint true.
Also, for your benefit and the benefit of other readers - the government awards us contracts because we have demonstrated performance and evidenced by our CPARs and awards. This includes having won the Tibbetts award from the Department of Defense (which by the way requires contractors to be US citizens) and the Contractor of the Year by the USDA, twice.
I assume that since you were training your replacement when you wrote this "review", you are no longer with Harmonia. Best of luck with your future endeavors.

6yI do hope you took the time to speak with Human Resources before you left, as we take such concerns seriously; however, if you had spoken with HR regarding these concerns, I expect HR would have shared that it is inappropriate to state that simply because one is Indian they must be on a visa. We are proud of the diversity of our employees, which include Indian- Americans, but we only hire people based on their ability to do their job well. We do hire employees from various countries on an H1B visa, but only about 20% of our workforce fits that demographic. USCIS keeps public records to this effect, so it is easy to verify.
The problem with Glassdoor reviews is that it is very hard to get actual facts within context; and, without that, it is difficult to take the steps necessary to determine what problems there truly are and how to resolve them. Regardless, you are correct that management should be showing respect and professionalism to all employees at all times. This is something that we take very seriously, and as such, we appreciate your reminder to take a look at ourselves closely to see if there is any area in which we can improve in this regard. Thank you for your feedback.
