      Pros

      Everyone is very friendly and love to laugh during Teams Meetings. Flexible schedules. Unlimited education for CE hours.

      Cons

      Their health insurance is expensive.

      The insurance we provide for our employees is very reasonable with 2 different plans offered. The price for each plan varies. We do offer coverage for an employee's spouse and family and those plans are more costly. I like that we break it out by child/children, spouse and family so you can pay for the exact coverage that you need. Vision and Dental coverage are very affordable with great coverage.

      HIA is a great company to work for

      Pros

      Some of the pros for working at HIA are: flexibility, great work/family life balance, lots of support and education so you can increase your coding skills, full remote, management is caring and supportive, communication is great, family reunions, monthly team meetings, etc..

      Cons

      Sometimes being fully remote it gets a little lonely and you feel disconnected but there are ways to help that!

      I love working for HIA, going on 4 years now. They offer lots of support, education, flexibility and understanding with work-life balance.
