Pros

Changing people's quality of life. Working with the geriatric population. Wonderful people to work with, and for.

Frustrating at times dealing with lazy homes not wanting to help.

Pros

I worked at healthdrive as a full time podiatrist. Everyone there was extremely professional and friendly. You really feel like you are part of a team. I can't say enough about the employees. They guide you every step of the way, from human resources to regulatory. My regional director was so helpful and understanding. The training they give you prior to starting is truly above and beyond. I have to say that every interaction I've had with an employee of healthdrive has been a pleasure. I had to leave the company for personal reasons but would not hesitate to come back if circumstances change. If you are in private practice and hesitant about joining the team don't be. They really take care of everything so you can actually focus on what you were trained to do, treat patients.

Cons

No cons about healthdrive itself. You have to be able to work independently and with the elderly population. That was perfect for me.

Pros

It is nice to work for a company that has upper management that interacts with their employees. It is an amazing service that we provide to nursing homes.

Cons

Pay could be better, poor raises and lack of bonuses. No 401k matching, no tuition reimbursement, not alot of recognition by the management team (supervisor/manager/director). There is a fear of taking too much PTO or if your child is sick calling in, as you will be told your not a team player. There is a quarterly customer service award but unless you have contact with doctors or patients/RPS you will not be part of that. The office is split in two, with operations and reimbursement on one side and corporate and billing on the other side it pulls employees apart. Corporate side does not feel included with the ops side. Not given tools to make your job easier. There is no communication between departments and inside departments. Training is horrible. You see the same errors everyday and there is no attempt to correct these. It is to the point where we no longer tell someone there is an issue because you know it won't change which is very frustrating. More needs to be done on the front end of the process to eleviate the same constant errors on the back end.

HealthDrive Response

Thank you for the kind words in reference to the efforts of upper management to be engaged with and regularly interact with all HealthDrive teammates. I also want to thank you for the more than 5 years of service. It is much appreciated. We recognized the need for greater communication and interaction and have strived to make this an environment where people feel connected and can approach Senior Management with feedback and suggestions. As I’ve mentioned in other responses on GlassDoor, we continue to look for ways to improve on and develop a greater sense of culture and community in order to make this a work setting people can feel pride in and have a stronger desire to be a part of the great company we are growing and developing. We are also working hard on improving and upgrading the training modules so that new teammates can make a more immediate impact and contribute to their team. In reference to your comment about not sharing concerns as you believe they go unattended to. I strongly urge you and any of our teammates to continue to share your thoughts and suggestions with your manager/director. If you do feel they are not being heard and addressed, I invite you to please bring them to the attention of either myself or an appropriate member of the Sr. Leadership team. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns and again I invite you to contact me directly if you would like to discuss any further Best regards, Tom Dixon, CEO HealthDrive Corporation
