Pros

Paid on time, great contemporaries to work with, the company pays for your additional states in the Health insurance position, equipment provided by the company.

Cons

Was originally hired on for Medicare but put into the Affordable Care Act plans division (no-one in my team was told before day one of training), poor training in respect to our actual job duties (ACA/IFP applications), delayed responses from supervisors in the chat, witnessed discrimination/differential treatment from one supervisor to her subordinate constantly, any suggestions you give to help improve the pain points agents deal with were seldom acknowledged, escalations were call avoided by supervisors, low morale in the department, several agents unbeknownst were making several errors on applications and thus misinforming customers daily (lack of training), ultimately the company didn't care if a customer made a false complaint they can still dismiss you without considering the ramifications or all the hard work you put in and suffered through. Bottom line: consider working somewhere else if you respect yourself enough to not be left high and dry. This seems to be the norm and company policies are usually against you to begin with.

Pros

They put you for training that lasts about three months. They also pay for licensing and appointments which doesn’t make sense for how quick they will fire you but hey gotta look at the positives... right?

Cons

Everything. When I first started working there I thought this was a stable job where they actually cared about keeping their employees, and when I read all the terrible Glassdoor reviews & Indeed reviews, my first thought was that those people were just slacking... so I took a chance because I said to myself I’m an overachiever and I can do the work!! I was W R O N G! I have worked my butt off to pass all the tests and things they want you to take, only for you to become disposable. Unorganized doesn’t even begin to cover the lack of structure in this company. The supervisors are all Not knowledgeable, and they are very hostile. One day they tell you to do one thing, the next day someone will tell you to do the absolute opposite. They will make you feel like if you aren’t performing that it’s something you’re doing, instead of taking responsibility for company errors. It was very disheartening to have many supervisors ask you to skip your lunch or your break. This is a COLD CALLING job, I found 80% or more of the clients we called had no idea we were calling, or were very angry by the calls so it made it hard to get sales without pressuring or forcing people to enroll in the policies. I found lots of people doing anything to “get the sale” and this really explains why the health care system is the way it is in America, because you have companies like this who swindle their employees and customer into thinking they’re “doing good things” and “helping people” when that is not the case. They will ask you to skip lunches, breaks, and over-work yourself to “meet the goals” which for many are impossible to meet. They use the “top performers” to make an example out of those who aren’t performing instead of focusing on those areas and showing you personally how to overcome them. It’s THE single worst company I’ve ever worked with and I’m so disappointed in how disposable they treat their employees.

Pros

Some of the people are so nice, I feel awful leaving a bad review.

Cons

I am so disappointed. There were many promises that were not upheld and favoritism is real here. I was referred here by an employee under the presumption that there would be great training and support and unfortunately it has been chaotic. Asking for help or understanding feels like you’re being a Nuisance. It’s disturbing to see the lack of care for success. I feel like I have joined a mill. There is not enough leads to even make a sale. You call voicemails for eight hours straight you’re lucky if you get a conversation out of these leads... Which rarely converts to a sale. They promise you that there’s lots of money here but on the first pay structure you would need to make 16 sales in a week to even reach $1000, Even the top reps in the company currently are not obtaining 16 sales in one week. The money is significantly less than mediocre. This was Frightening. They also hold your appointment so you cannot obtain a job if you do resign in the Medicare industry. They won’t fire you, as that depletes the contract. You rot until you quit. The quality of leads is atrocious. Their marketing for leads is certainly misleading. Their ads consist of Medicare covering for dental implants which is not accurate at all and you call these leads and you were supposed to convert them To sell a dental plan that has $2000 max on it that does not cover dental implants. $15 an hour is affordable for your lifestyle you can apply, but if you have bills and you have a life and home to sustain I would highly recommend doing research and refraining at this time. many of the representatives here are starving like Eating pretzels for breakfast and lunch.
