      Great career for the long run.

      Pros

      The work here is not bad at all. You only work half the year. Also we get 7 days off Once a month! Schedule can be a bit challenging. We work days and nights as well as during the weekend depending on the shift you are on. These are 12hr shifts.

      Cons

      The challenges of working here is mainly the schedule. If you can be able to plan your family times around your days off then you should be okay.

      Pros

      Great pay with great benefits as well, 401K matching. They say the attitude of the company as a whole starts at the top, and Nick has really made the global company of Hexcel come together and unite as one company.

      Cons

      My particular plant is understaffed in my department, putting burden on everyone else. Everything always has to be done yesterday.

      Pros

      About the only good things I can say about this company are the benefits are pretty good and what they manufacture, composite material, is very interesting. This is really cool stuff and the science and technology to produce it is very cool. A lot of people in manufacturing, engineering and IT are great to work with.

      Cons

      This isn't a good place for someone in IT or software development. They are a 24/7 facility and are undermanned to support the facility and use antiquated technology so systems are always failing. The IT staff is scattered across the globe making communication difficult and the leadership is non-existent. Poor decisions made by IT management and leadership has resulted in a stressful and frustrating environment. I left the company some time ago but they churned a lot of employees since I left in the same position. The IT department needs to be completely overhauled.
