Pros

Shorter hours compared to industry standard. Hard working middle management. Company is expending very quickly means you may transfer but only if your manager approves you to.

Cons

Some executives and managers do not have the skillsets to be in top management. They would make one decision one day, and then the opposite the next day. Only are in top management due to connections within the company. Junior manager and middle managements are stuck doing whatever the company want them to do. Turnover rate is very high, making the team short staffed most of time.

Not a Diverse or Ethical Company

Pros

It would not be fair to say there are no pros, however, it pays well if you are willing to sacrifice any work/life balance. Corporate works in a completely different world than the operational hotel associates and managers. These are akin to two completely different lives and companies and any reviews from Corporate should not be on the same page as hotel associate and manager reviews.

Cons

This company does not support and promote enough women in key operational and leadership roles. There are some, but they are few and far between. Ethics are not upheld as results and numbers are often more important than doing the right thing. This company also runs very lean with managers. They sacrifice quality and work/life balance in order to achieve bottom line results for ownership groups. This company does not show investment in managers and their career. They are taking over too many hotels without any or enough resources when their current hotels are screaming for help and support. So many VPs and not enough boots on the ground.

MISERABLE

Pros

Honestly can't think of many besides room for growth if you suck up to the higher ups and do every single thing correctly.

Cons

No work/life balance. Long hours. always on call at home and on weekends. There is a huge gap between executives/vps and the staff/managers on property. You can't e-mail a higher up, even if you need to, without going through 3 other people first. In interviews, they seem like a company that cares about it's employees and that they cultivate a family work environment, but they ABSOLUTELY DO NOT. nobody speaks to one another, nobody is a family, nobody is happy or passionate, everyone wants to leave. everyone is miserable. and the higher ups wont talk to a measly manager on property so how is that a family? also the benefits aren't even good for a big company.
