Constant restructuring

Pros

Generous PTO, sizable benefits, growth opportunities, welcoming people. Pretty good work-life balance depending who you talk to.

Cons

Layoffs and a second one looming. Horrible maternity leave being a “healthcare” company. I have to use my PTO if I need more than the bare minimum. Constant restructuring, leadership telling us to “embrace change” but also changing priorities daily. Leadership unaware what people do day-to-day and unwilling to learn. Nepotism. Leadership choosing their friends from other companies or family members who haven't embraced Humana to what I’ve seen.

Pros

Growth opportunities. Paid certification and education credits. Decent overall work culture. Remote work options. Great coworkers

Cons

Constant re-organizing. High anxiety over constant layoffs. Leaders don't micromanage you...the systems do. Remote guilt to constantly be available leading to longer working hours with no breaks. If you enjoy being in useless meetings all day with no time to work until 4:30pm when everyone logs off and everything is an urgency and no leadership support, fear of speaking up because of being put on a lay off list.

Pros

Pay is good Remote work

Cons

Computers are monitored very closely. You cannot have your mouse sitting still for over 2 mins. After 2 mins Verint system starts to record the time your mouse does not move. Your supervisor will go over this with you every month. -hired 8am-5pm. 2 months later we are now told we will be working until 8pm some evenings and this will be permanent. -orientation is 1:5 during mentorship of 2 weeks. You basically teach yourself the positions following written processes
