Pros

The sales atmosphere is constantly buzzing in the Harl office and can be infectious for motivation. Benefits were about standard but there is an employee assistance program offered for those in need which shows they have some compassion for their employees.

Cons

While it is constantly voiced that they care for their employees it is hard to see that on the daily basis. For someone that is hungry to learn the resources offered fall short of growing your potential and running up against poor management or favoritism can really sabotage scaling the corporate ladder. There is a lot of talk but very slow improvement. Processes are complex for sales and not everyone is trained efficiently causing errors. Too many departments still operate in silos causing duplicate efforts or poor communication.

We really do try to take care of our employees, our In It Together foundation which raises money for Insight teammates is one of our most unique benefits, and in 2018 we were able to help 88 teammates in crisis. We are always working to improve our processes, and have made recently automated several of our processes to help make things simpler and quicker. Pros

Very collaborative environment. Everyone is willing to help each other accomplish the goals. A well thought out strategy and roadmap for where the company is going in the future. It is nice to know that plans are in place. Everyone is clear on their roles and responsibilities and do them with great attitudes. I like that you know what is expected and there is no guessing games.

Cons

Change is constant, but it is actually a good thing. I know some folks have trouble with this, but it is a fact of life and is necessary to stay relevant and alive in business. If you are no adapting to your environment (as a company or a teammate), then you will not see any positive growth. These are exciting times for me.

Marketing leadership doesn't provide direction. Autonomy is good but not when you get penalized.
