Pros

-Ok pay for beginner -50% off employee discount -Company offered weekly promotions to employees to earn money towards clothing purchases

Cons

-Absolutely no say in scheduling. It is done almost 2 months in advanced and your shifts are up to your manager. Goodbye weekends and holidays. If you have to request off everyone will give you grief for having to "cover for you". I am a college student living many hours away from home and they expected me to work on Christmas Eve without even asking me first. They do not care about your family or social life. -Very expensive products that are hard to sell to the every day person -Rude, demanding customers -Not enough employees at the store I worked at -I had one emergency situation and I couldn't work one weekend because I had to go tend to my family and there was no empathy from my coworkers. Instead it was a matter of "well I'm working 6 hours for you this weekend while you're gone, which day of mine are you going to take next week?" When I was constantly coming in when my coworkers got sick, needed to leave early, and agreeing when they wanted to switch shifts for their benefit. -It wasn't just my store. When calling other stores I was mistreated by employees over the phone. -Not a good place to work for a younger person (college student). Everyone is 40+, I was made fun of a lot for my "young age".

Pros

Nice Customers! Appreciate managers and associates "going the extra mile". A joy!

Cons

Too bad corporate doesn't appreciate their employees! Received numerous notes sent to corporate complimenting my work. They are not interested! Welcome and encourage employees turning against each other...Brings out "dirt" they can use! Praise and advancement for their "favorites" but everyone else needs to "watch their back"! VP of Stores is a wicked hipocrite! Be sure you don't get on her "bad side". Makes no difference what you bring to store in sales and commitment. The "Culture of Kindness" is a joke!

Pros

"Boutique" atmosphere where customer is treated well. Laid-back atmosphere. Most customers know and love product so it sells itself. Excellent hourly pay and "free" clothes based on high sales but not a commission driven platform. Small staff makes for family atmosphere.

Cons

Not enough inventory. Online warehouse takes away inventory as fast as they send it. Styles don't change so hard to get excited about product. Higher management takes over store management on a whim with new rules and practices . Tremendous pressure to meet store goals and bombard clients with emails and phone calls.
