Pros

- Excellent mission and products, throughout the years - Excellent benefits, they truly care and make efforts to do more - Always challenging, keep me on my toes, new projects, shifting plans - Great people, high-quality team - Daniel is very inspiring

Cons

- Salaries are good but not great. If you come later, you miss on the stocks, but that's true of anywhere. They are trying to make up for it in other ways.

Pros

- There are some incredible people who live the brand, are fun to work with and just want to build up everyone around them - There seems to begenuine desire to make this a company that people want to work at - Free snacks - Work from home options - Potential career growth opportunities for young people - Daniel is a visionary and seems to really want the best for everyone

Cons

- Managements lack of accountability - Commodification of personnel - Fear based management is not discouraged - Communication is incessantly discussed but no tools are provided - Transparency is a huge "value", but there is only transparency when things go well, and zero transparency when they do not go well - You have to fight for any semblance of work/life balance and there is constantly push back even when you set healthy boundaries - Expectations are constantly adjusted and rarely forthcoming - The company is reactive instead of proactive, leading to the negatives being focused on over positives - You will feel and be told like you are not good enough to leave or get a promotion - No one will admit when they are wrong - The stock options are nothing more than a golden handcuff unless you are already independently wealthy - There has been countless negative glassdoor reviews that have been deleted and it is highly concerning

We’re disappointed to read this review. Many of the experiences you’ve shared don’t speak to the culture and environment that we aim to model. We welcome the opportunity for you to reach out to us to discuss directly. We understand you may not reach out, so we’ll respond to a few comments here. - Our team members are incredible and we think it’s a part of what makes KIND a great place where people want to be. - Transparency has been a core value since our founding. Sometimes things don’t go as planned, and when that happens we expect accountability, discussion and sharing to take advantage of the learning opportunity. - We’ve continued to grow quickly over the past few years and it’s true that in turn we’ve increased expectations for each other and in our work. - Balance in work & life is important and we encourage team members to define what works for them since each situation is unique. We have a Flexible Workplace policy to support a healthy balance, and offer generous paid time off to use at your discretion. - Each team member is tremendously valued and should feel empowered to openly share their interest in career growth. If a team member is feeling unvalued, that’s an issue that needs to be raised to leadership or HR. We believe our culture is a collective responsibility that we all have a hand in. We sincerely value direct and honest feedback and hope you’ll reach back out to help us address these challenges to ensure your experience is not the same for others. – KIND HR

Pros

Free bars and granola Wear jeans to work Friendly team members Chic-leaning office space Bonus

Cons

Lack of balanced leadership- The CEO has final say on ALL decisions. Managers take no accountability and have giving up on providing counter-balanced perspectives. Lack of culture- the firm grew too fast and its culture disappeared Crowded office space Secrecy & distrust Weak HR- never offers career growth or management training Stock options are too expense to exercise- team members are asked to pay income taxes upon exercising
