Pros

I can’t think of anything

Cons

First of all, they treat you worst than a child. Second, the pay is lousy to say the least, they micromanaged employees to DEATH..👎👎👎condescending attitude, your background or education is meaningless to them. They treat you always as a high school drop out…they were awful and whatever you do please do not waste time with these people…they will humiliate you the nerves…do not work for them please!!!!

Though these words are difficult to read, we will reflect upon them and use them as an opportunity to improve. We are always striving to be better for the employees who are LanguageLine’s core. After doing an extensive evaluation of our pay and benefits in comparison to other employers in our business, we find that our compensation and benefits, while not above average, are consistent with the industry. Please note: we regularly review industry compensation. LanguageLine Solutions is a certified Great Place to Work, and we strive to maintain this positive culture and provide the best possible experience for all our employees. Pros

- work at home - pay is about industry level - not too stressful in terms of being monitored - interpreter friendly system

Cons

- pay can remain the same level for years - no designated supervisor, all requests made through computer systems - no wiggling room since all personal needs requested by computer, no one to talk to - work on all holidays without extra pay - can be forced to reduce hours because of business needs

Pros

provide paid training for people interested in the industry and have not taken any training with no experience. After hired, will provide a week's training. 30 hours considered full time and provide insurance and 401k. Pretty much provide all equipments you need t.o perform the job but you still need to be somewhat computer savvy

Cons

low pay rate, no PTO, no OT pay, no holiday pay, no direct supervisor, no one to get in touch to other than opening tickets in the system. Need to wear their uniform and need a big enough space to set up a backdrop. calls are back to back and only 15 second in between calls.
