Pros

This was my first ever “professional” role out of college. I started out first as a contractor and later became a perm worker. Right away I was met with helpful and welcoming staff, they supported me in training, questions I had, and would accommodate me in the ways I needed while I worked in office (ex: giving me a standing desk). My manager and team were great and provided me with a lot of autonomy in my role.

Cons

My work was rather repetitive, and after doing nearly the same thing for a few years I got tired of my role. There weren’t a lot of opportunities for role shifts or changes and tasks even though I was a reliable and effective team member and was well-received by my colleagues.

If a recruiter offers a wonderland, don't go down the rabbit hole.

Pros

You don't have to work outside in bad weather to earn some money. (Even though your hours will be manipulated, and you'll have to fight for every penny)

Cons

Besides the insultingly low pay, you have to deal with a two-headed management structure, that is confusingly vague, as well as directionless. Rules and regulations are changed weekly, sometimes in totally contradictory ways. You are expected to respect these rules without receiving any in return. If you think you want to take this job because you like to "help people", don't fool yourself. You're a number, and you are instantaneously expendable. To add insult to injury, the app you must use for communication is sketchy at best, and will make your life even more miserable. You're better off serving burgers.
