Pros

If you want to work along side, smart, dedicated and fully engaged co-workers than LegitScript is for you. Great benefits with nominal employee contribution plus generous PTO policy right from the start. Management team that cares about the employees and provides great support (for any issue(s) you may have, work related or otherwise). Nice offices, great perks, friendly atmosphere. Could not recommend LegitScript more highly.

Cons

Initial training is challenging but definitely worth the journey. Compensation probably a touch under market but there is a lot that makes up for that.

I was baited and switched into a job. The job for which I interviewed and was hired was NOT the job I was given. My onboarding was 3 and a half weeks alone in a corner with a laptop and ZERO direction. I was hired as a data analyst and I was never once given an analysis assignment. I was instead given over 3,000 websites to manually review one at a time. The company and manager had no idea of what their needs were when hiring. They should have been looking for a team of entry level unskilled workers. I turned down a Data Science role at Google because this company seemed "cool." Don't be fooled like I was. Keep searching right on past this sham operation.

I'm very sorry that your experience with the company was poor and I will do my best to understand the situation further and learn from any mistakes that might have been made. I agree with your comment on investing in onboarding and that is something we are actively addressing. We have recently hired a new Director of Talent & Culture and are hiring a new Learning & Development Manager and part of their roles will be to help us create a new and improved company-wide onboarding process.

Pros

I have been working at LegitScript for nearly half a year and I can honestly say that it has been great so far! Yes, the initial training might be somewhat stressful but it's only for a couple of weeks and you learn a lot in that time! The people are very welcoming, friendly and open and managers seem to truly care about employees. PTO is fair, good health care plan and flexible hours. The office has its own barista bar and you get to bring your dog to work. Who doesn't love that?

Cons

Yes, the pay could be a little better but money is not everything. I feel that the pros that come with working here outweigh this slight disadvantage by far! Something else that might be worth mentioning is that parking space is limited. On the bright side, the company does make up for it with monthly reimbursements for parking and/or transportation.

Thank you very much for posting your review. I'm really glad to hear that it has been such a positive experience thus far and I hope that continues far into the future. I wish we could do more about parking in downtown Portland, but that's an issue for everyone. Appreciate the advice on communication and engagement, you have my personal commitment that that will always continue to be a high priority.
