Terrible Place to Work

Pros

The only pro was the free chips at the office

Cons

Consulting in general is a terrible place to be in. You are treated as a second-rate citizen in the client's office. And if Logic can't find a place for you at their clients' offices, then they will put you on Bench, which means that you don't make any money since you're paid hourly (project-based employees). Management doesn't do anything to try to get you onto other projects. I was on Bench for 6 months after my project ended. They kept saying that a project is going to open up, but nothing ever came. I quit after 6 months of being on Bench because I got an offer from a top 4 tech company (FANG). Whatever you do, don't accept an offer from Logic2020. Especially if they are rushing you to fill a position.

Thank you for your review. We always appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to learn and improve. We are sorry you feel Consulting wasn’t a good fit for you. Yes, it can be hard sometimes to find the right project opportunity for our consultants when they join our team or an assignment ends. A lot can fluctuate and change depending on what our clients are looking for, or what projects are already underway. However, please be assured that there is a large team of people meeting several times a week specifically for the purpose of assigning the right people to every project, including those that are upcoming but not yet contracted. Our teams actively look for projects that match the skills of our consultants on the bench, and place emphasis on finding projects suited for the experience and expertise of those employees. They use multiple sources of information about our consultants as they fill those assignments, including feedback from project managers, career managers, and clients as well as the information contained in the consultant profiles each of our employees maintains. I’m sorry that you were not placed on a project that was a fit for you. We will try and find more ways to add transparency and clarity to the opportunities available for those on the bench, and company wide.

Pros

Great list of clients providing challenging opportunities. Work culture expects hard work, but give a good work/life balance.

Cons

benefits are ok. very expensive if you have a family. but for a boutique consulting firm in the area, they are right on par with cost.

Pros

Our social committee sends out fun things to do virtually. You can receive reimbursement for training opportunities, but know you may need to pay them back if you don't stay with the company long enough. There's a good effort to make consultants feel connected across remote HUBs. Clients to work with are high-profile. Smart people to work alongside with that have good industry experience to learn from. The employees that have a long tenure can start to receive more benefits.

Cons

A lot of employees leave after a short stay and the company has also cut a lot recently. VERY high cost per month for benefits. 1% 401k match of your yearly salary seems low for tech. Leadership loses their tempers and has yelled at co-workers in front of us. ~Every~ employee is required to make outreach to our Linkedin network to attempt to find new work for the business and asked to record your attempts for verification. Working 40 hour weeks is considered doing the minimum, so you will need to consistently bill more than 40 hours to be graded well in your reviews.
