Those are not 'warm' leads, there simply giving there name number and email address to get free access to the website. then you call and harass them to pay for a premium membership so they can see more properties and get more exposure. Same pitch, every day. Redundant, tedious, hard-pressurized selling tactics -System is built for high turnover, that tells you something right there -Micro managing 'regional managers', whose only job is to 'help' you hit your target. AKA breathe down your back and ask you whats going on, meanwhile bringing no value to the table. -LOTS of cold calling. 80+ a day. (very respectable when applying for future sales positions) Despite all the cons, I learned a lot of great basic selling skills, gained phone presence and confidence, and I was able to land a legit sales job because of what I learned at LoopNet. make the most of it while you're there, stay a year to put on your resume and get out.
