Pros

Decent pay for what you're doing (which usually isn't a whole lot). Awesome product.

Cons

Very possibly the worst support team from a corporate headquarters. In a company that for a long time claimed "it's your fault, for the bad, but also the good" they are really good about it NEVER being anyone's fault if your work at HQ. People who are terrible at their job stay in positions forever and people who are amazing at their jobs, get terminated or burnt out from having way too much put on them. Don't expect to be able to move up, despite what they say, leadership positions are only available to the brownest of noses and those that take credit for all the good, but pass the blame for all the bad. There is no flexibility in selling (you do it THEIR way and with ONLY the promotion they say). No commissions (just "spiffs"). Constant issue at the most basic level of production and logistics. They can't ship anything on time to save their life, and constantly make their employees lie about it to save face. The CEO is by far the most two faced individual in the company and has his fingers in every pie which of course, ruins them all. His life's goal now is to be "The Lovesac Guy" and due to extreme narcissism, can't let anyone else be any of the idea makers for his precious baby, leading to him only hiring sycophants to keep himself feeling good about his terrible decisions.

Pros

Some of the people you work with. Other than that, nothing else.

Cons

The favoritism, upper management (DM) would only visit stores that were in her state and even when we lost a manager and had no staff, she still did not see visit our location to see how we were doing. They don't care about their employees, and believe everyone is easily replaceable. A LOT OF BAD HIRES ESPECIALLY STORE MANAGERS. Shawn get it together! You are promoting an environmentally friendly product then THROWING out product that could easily be recycled. Such a shame. They entire company does not practice what it preaches. Not with product or it's employees. Such a horrible experience at this company with racism as well. CONDUCT BACKGROUND CHECKS! High turnover, they can't keep anyone due to micromanagement and crappy attitudes. No opportunities to advance. Even if there is an open position, they would prefer to hire from the outside to offer as little money as possible. Work life balance. is non-existent. Even when you are on vacation, they are calling/emailing/texting. The customer service department there is a joke and they only make things worse. Constantly have to push product and oversell because we need to "spend as much money as possible because it isn't our wallet". AND THEN NOT HAVING THE PRODUCT! The worse part was having to call customers to let them know their couch was backordered 10-12 weeks. Do not work here. Save yourself the grief.

Pros

store level culture is great, the product is quality..pricey but quality. Customers are usually pretty great to work with. 40% discount

Cons

No commission, No incentives, Upper management is a Joke, all they want is B.S reports and micromanage the stores. They have lost focus on the people and only want unrealistic numbers. They wont hire most people for full time because they don't want to pay for benefits. They don't listen to the stores and the feedback. The owner is done he is ready to cash out and let some conglomerate buy/run the store into the ground.
