Pros

Small personal office, you have your own space and don’t have to deal with many coworkers. As long as you make your sales it’s a fairly easy job. Good stable job to get experience working in insurance and in an office . Good people just a few bad apples but everybody is nice and will treat you with respect.

Cons

Upper management was unprofessional and inconsistent at times. Company made a lot of changes that made it more difficult to sell yet would still complain that we were not selling enough Company only cares about sales and their bottom line. Have to work 6 days a week and dress formally everyday, Saturday it’s only a 4 hours so they don’t have to give you lunch Bonus for sales feels like a carrot on a stick, most of the time you’ll get close but if you don’t hit the magic number you don’t get any bonus. Sink or swim environment, you get thrown in and are expected to adapt, it would be fine but often times there is little to no training you’ll have to train as you work.
