Pros

NONE none none none corrupt none none! 20 work minimum is says. This company is a joke!

Cons

I was hired on to Fred Loya Insurance in November 2014 with the job title of "office manager." It was a salary position, which I had been in before so I wasn't extremely concerned about that. Upon being hired I was told that at first my salary would be XXX dollars and as soon as I met my numbers, and was audited that quarter, I would be bumped up to XXX dollars a week. That seemed doable! So i worked and worked and worked so that my office could meet its goals. I was working about 70 hours a week for what came to, at one point, a little over 4 dollars an hour. I continued to put in work and my office was doing very well! My loss ratio was where it should be, app count, errors ect. But no raise. No more training. In fact, I called my regional at one point to beg for training! After all, I had no experience in insurance. Just mgmt. but she could never make a trip to where I was. Needless to say I left for a better opportunity and they fired me after putting in my two weeks. And this is just the financial burden of all of this. IF YOU ARE NOT HISPANIC, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT APPLYING FOR A JOB WITH FRED LOYA INSURANCE!!!!!!!!!!! This company is a joke! It's all run by one family. Every single important member of the company is either married in, the god daughter, daughter, sister, aunt, blah blah blah. I am white. Not that it matters, since I don't have a racist bone in my body! But I never expected the Hispanic community to treat me so badly. Absolute worst racists as a whole. I was talked about, picked on, and never ever accepted as one of them. I could go on to give specific examples, but way too much work. I have never taken the time to write a review for anything. I'm usually too busy working or have better things to do but I needed to point this out. If my review just helps one person, it's worth it. I've never been with a company less than a year until them. 11 months of hell was long enough! No more free over time from me! That's all they want you for! Esp if you're white.

Pros

Hourly wage, Comfortable office setting, Paid training, Health benefits, HR is easily accessible, Fast paced, Office bonuses can boost hourly wages up to $16/hr. Great for people who are just entering the workforce. You can start here and learn how to work hard and make yourself a valuable employee. The rules/procedures are strict but they will make you a more focused worker, overall.

Cons

Overtime is punished, Strict work schedule, Increasing monthly sales quota, Regional manager for Inland Empire is unprofessional, Cost-cutting. Schedule is revolving open/close so holding a second job or going to school at the same time is nearly impossible. Your daily schedule is closely monitored so you will likely end up with 32-36 hours worked a week. The company has been struggling in 2015 so corporate is engaging in fierce cost-cutting.
