Pros

Paychecks clear. You’ll get plenty of practice in conflict management, people-pleasing, and biting your tongue — transferable skills if you escape.

Cons

If you enjoy parroting talking points and pretending the Kool-Aid tastes great, you’ll fit right in. For everyone else, brace yourself. Culture: Toxic is putting it politely. Leadership by intimidation is the norm, and questioning anything is treated like an act of rebellion. Retaliation isn’t a risk—it’s an expectation. Favoritism: Professional boundaries? Cute concept. Leadership’s “special relationships” lead to blatant favoritism while talented employees head for the exits. Advancement: Promotions on the Care Team follow a clear pattern: reward a very specific demographic, rinse, repeat. Diversity is used as a marketing slogan, not a practice. Only one manager of color remains. Reality Check: Despite branding itself as supportive of women, the lived experience paints a very different picture—especially for women of color. Bottom line: If you like the sound of a career where integrity and equity are optional, you’ll thrive. Otherwise, run—don’t walk—in the opposite direction.

Pros

Good mission and good people at the IC level

Cons

- The only good thing about the app are the people behind it. The tech is nothing special and is overhyped and outdated (still). And yet the people behind it are treated like expendable, consistently. Morale is way down and has been for a while. Lots of people brought in who have shiny titles but no idea what they're doing. And rounds and rounds of layoffs have perpetuated the ready toxic environment The CEO is inexperienced, unwilling to listen, and obsessed with media.

Pros

The frontline team is amazing and undervalued. There are great and truly supportive people amongst the mess who deserve so much more.

Cons

The positivity and inspiring mission is a facade. Leadership doesn't know anything about compassion, how to care for their employees, or even consider how their actions impact the women and families that WORK for them. Its all fake to reel in big named clients month after month, but that well is drying up and they've reached a low that is both disrespectful and just ...undeserving of anyone who truly does work hard for them. Its so sad to see a company who once had amazing values nose dive over what...money?... popularity? Do yourself a favor if you're considering applying and just don't. If there are any positive reviews know that they are fake. There are no "growing pains", just back stabbing, infighting, and it is all at the top. Please, please, save yourself the time. You are worth more than this company will treat you.
