Disorganized, but has potential to improve

Pros

Can be a fun job when the flow is steady, it feels good to make a customer's day, good for a starting job for someone with no experience, good introduction to a large company.

Cons

Employees weren't trained well enough before opening, managerial hierarchy is very confusing (not really clear who to report to), not too many opportunities for advancement so far, management can be disorganized, few incentives, obvious favoritism and bias, pay isn't great for what we have to put up with.

Pros

Respect, you are not considered a number with the Merlin comp[any you are a vital part of the team. I have worked for Large amusement parks in the area and Merlins Culture is the best I have seen. Merlin should market this culture and show all the big parks how it is done. I beleive if you continue with the same Culture you will have the best of the best employee's.

Cons

Use more Local contractors that are in the direct area of the facility.

Fairness to employees Hard work is reconized and rewarded Decent starting pay Supervisors communicate well with their employees Job advancement is fairly easy if you are a hard worker

Cons

Re-active rather then proactive Difficult to get hired on full-time Favoritism to certain employees is common Lack of set positions (i.e. sous cook, grill master, ect.)
