Cons

Inconsistency across organisation Poor pay and even poorer benefits Privately owned so lack of investment to get Attraction up to decent quality. Poor IT systems Poor work life balance even on 40 hour week contract No overtime

Pros

Excellent opportunities for career progression. Opportunities to travel between attractions. Reliable global company - not likely to go bankrupt or pay you late! Free access to all Merlin attractions.

Cons

Wages do not reflect the HUGE amount of profit made by this company that is second in line to Disney. Also wages differ substantially from attraction to attraction even though the roles are often exactly the same and the money all ends up in the same pot. For the low pay there is also quite a lot asked of you and you are often expected to go above and beyond the call of duty with little reward. Also the targets are often ridiculously high and there is little incentive to beat them!!
