Cons

Overworked, No Training. Awful pay, Covert Racism. Store is not as clean as you would hope.

Pros

Some of the teams are the best ever. Great, creative people who work together and look out for one another. This is not standard, however.

Cons

Corporate is clearly inhuman and does not care about the people in the stores who actually make them the money, and does not care about the customers otherwise they would bite the bullet and provide real hours to stores to adequately staff them - and it's only gotten worse. Even as a customer it's next to impossible to get good help because there's three people working in the store and the manager is either hiding in an office or doing five different jobs to make up for the lack of employees. I have yet to see a Michaels store manager that does not fall into one of those two camps.
