Pros

Everyone suffers together and tries to be supportive of the bad culture.

Cons

It is always chaos. Anyone who wants a promotion will stand on the neck of someone else to get ahead. The worst part is they are the ones who get promoted. DEI is everything! If you don’t fall into one of their DEI requirements you are prevented from getting promoted or even joining an “inclusive “ employee resource group. I was told by a c-suite executive that every employee has an expiration date and when they are no longer useful to the company their date has arrived. They call employees out by name for not voting they should be a great place to work.

Pros

-work/life balance -great benefits (for now) -cover cost of certifications/additional education -attend multiple conferences in the tech space

Cons

What was once a promising AWS Partner organization has quickly turned into a disorganized mess. Over the past few years, there has been constant promises to internal employees and rarely has leadership delivered. The internal communication at Mission is a mess - leadership deliver mixed messages to departments, make promises of new funding and internal promotions/raises to once again pick back up [after being "on hold" for over 1 year] then suddenly the company communicates they DID NOT secure additional funding, consistently gave the run around regarding promotions/raises and still have provided no real answers/solutions as of today. Now the company has done a surprise mass layoff, letting go of individuals who are incredibly talented while letting down numerous divisions internally. [AppDev team - I cannot imagine how frustrated you are.] For anyone looking to join Mission - I would give the dust some time to settle until leadership can figure out how to make this better. They are not reaching profitable margins, they do not properly communicate with their employees, they do not offer fair compensation or bonus structure, they are not doing any internal promotions/raises....and the list could go on and on. I'm disappointed to see how they've handled adversity and challenges over the years and unfortunately I don't see it getting better any time soon.

Pros

Many great co-workers who want to be supportive. The pay is decent. Remote work is the best benefit.

Cons

Culture shifted over the last year. No concern about employee mental well being now. Leadership is only interested in billing customers as much as they can. Trying to sell the company. The managers have no power to make things better for employees.
