Pros
Good people, good benefits, friendly upper management that are not afraid to communicate and interact with the people. There are no ivory towers here and Martin will often talk with anyone willing to have a conversation with him, which is refreshing and rare. This was the most professional place I’ve ever worked with good training that provided me the skills I needed to be successful outside of this company.
Cons
This is a good old boys club that very rarely promotes women and even more rarely puts them in a position to be successful. There are a lot of politics here, more than anywhere I’ve ever worked. If you aren’t one of the chosen ones you will never get promoted. Mid level managers tend to be extremely arrogant and difficult to work with. Pay is not competitive. This company used to be all about family and their employees and that has also changed. Be prepared to work like a dog and not get compensated well unless you are an executive or happen to leave the company and come back.
