Pros

The clients and animals were the only bright spots in the day. Some coworkers were supportive and made the experience tolerable.

Cons

Management is heavily focused on micromanaging every detail of your day rather than trusting you to do your job. The culture is centered around constant. Criticism meetings were frequent, but never to acknowledge hard work or positive performance. Feedback was overwhelmingly negative often nitpicking trivial issues instead of addressing larger, systemic problems. There is a lack of support or constructive development. It felt like the goal was to push employees out rather than help them grow. Morale was consistently low due to the hustle work environment created by leadership.

Pros

Loving and caring people who work in the hospitals.

Cons

The executive leaders, some of the senior leaders, and all of the HR leaders are in roles beyond their abilities. They are extremely toxic, lead from their insecurities/fear and it is destroying the organization.

Pros

NVA is a mission-driven organization with a strong presence in the veterinary space. Many passionate, hardworking individuals across the company genuinely care about animal care and practice support. The company offers remote flexibility and operates within a growing, dynamic industry. Cons: In my short time at NVA, I found the onboarding process and internal communication less structured than I expected for a company of this size. The expectations around role clarity, tools, and support were not aligned with what was initially communicated. Culturally, I found it challenging to find alignment, and it quickly became clear that it was not the right environment for me.

Cons

In my short time at NVA, I found the onboarding process and internal communication disorganized. The expectations around role clarity, tools, and support were not aligned with what was initially communicated. Culturally, I found it challenging to find alignment, and it quickly became clear that it was not the right environment for me.
