Cons
Peter Principle at work. Unqualified people promoted into leadership without training or a clue. What this creates: unmanaged workloads cause never ending inability to stay caught up and supervisor blaming the employee rather than taking responsibility for an unmanaged workload (the supervisors JOB!). Blaming the employee for not knowing things that they were not trained on. Assuming the worst about the employee without close examination and consideration. Apparent radical reverse-discrimination policies enacted on senior clinicians who happen to be the wrong ethnicity. It’s supposed to be a therapeutic environment, not a platform for authoritarianism or racism.
