Leadership is Full of Tenured Nepotistic Morons

Pros

Pay, Bonus, 401K Match, it’s easy to coast because senior leadership is dumb.

Cons

They’re racist. If you do well and are not a white favorite of management, they will just work you harder. They’re are hardly people of color being promoted or in leadership. The diversity and inclusion is performative. A D&I class was facilitated by the most privileged group on the face of the earth. Senior leadership has no idea what they’re doing. They will ignore their subordinates ideas and suggestions and then steal them when their managers discover an issue, regurgitating it back as if you didn’t recommend it the previous week. Senior leadership takes no accountability and will pass responsibilities; and because management cares little about their employee, they will inundate you with work. The company grew extremely large and extremely fast. That coupled with the fact that you will be promoted based off your tenure leads to issues of people not knowing how to lead a organization of this size. They show favoritism of who they will allow work and have no regard for their employees medical concerns. They will hire you for one thing and then have you performing demeaning responsibilities outside of your position. Your manager will throw you to the wolves in order for them to fit in the favorites crowd. There are no established processes and you will not receive help. The systems are so old and antiquated. Leadership wouldn’t be able leave the company because they’ve been there so long and wouldn’t be able to compete in the industry. Holistically, they are NOT smart. Everything is manual in 2023 with very little automation. They will establish new processes with old technology.

Pros

Benefits (You’ll need them for therapy)

Cons

I’m honestly not sure how they are still on fortune 100. This can’t be coming from people who work in CCO. What Navy Federal does not tell you is that you work more Saturdays than what you have off. 6 Saturdays in a row, with one Saturday off is appropriate to them. They are just like every other big corp in America now. No longer employee-focused. That’s why everyone is leaving! Not worth it!

Pros

Nice gym at the main campus.

Cons

Taking initiative to fix issues that others overlook is not rewarded. You will be a target for jealous leaders/managers. The internal culture is unbearable if you have dignity and self respect. The parking is ATROCIOUS at the main office! You have to arrive as early as possible to avoid a long walk to the building. Security stalks and harasses employees while investigating regular parking lot accidents. & yes you signed up for a financial service job but get ready to be treated like you're in the military. When I left they didn't even care why, exit interview notification was already expired when sent.
