A lot of experienced and great people to work with but don't expect it to last

Pros

At the time I was part of the company (close to 5 years), most of the people I met was passionate and experienced professionals. I learned a lot from my time there, soft and hard skills and people genuinely tried to do all what they could to help you in any way, if you need it.

Cons

During my time there I was assigned to 5 different projects, during this transitions no one got much of a communication to me or to my team, the way it use to go was: - You wake up, ready to start your day and before you have your daily stand up someone would tell you: "You got reassigned to project X, the PM of that project will send you invitations for meetings and introduce you to the team". While I can understand unpredictability, would be nice to get notified in advance and have something to say about where you'll work and what lessons can be learned from the experience. You go through constant reviews (1 per trimester, 4 per year), while necessary it feels overkill and sometimes it took from my daily work. Lastly, seems like the company is on the side of the clients, meaning if the client decides they don't like you, the manager will put the spotlight on you no matter your track record and you'll be put in "probation". While I understand the client having precedence, this doesn't mean throwing under the wheel your developers, have respect for them and first listen both sides, if a client wants to get a different developer just because a developer missed to mark a checklist, that is fine but then don't put on the line that developer.

Sweat shop, favoritism and management detachment from reality

Pros

- Initial excitement about perspective - Generally good people around

Cons

- Very poor management: lack of modern tech exposure, underestimation of the resources for projects, no drive by example culture, they feel as total strangers. - Favoritism: top management hires cowardly their favorite candidates and promotes them - Micromanagement: constant pushes and "status checks". You only have time to answer project management (who are really managing this Co as a sweat shop) Slack requests. - Management looks top down to their employees. One guy offered me a meal from his finished plate. Very poor joke or example of stupidity.
