      Pros

      Flexibility of being able to work remotely from home. That's all I can say about this company.

      Cons

      Since there's been changes in management, things has not been the same. New managers sucks and incompetent. In order to secure your job you have to kiss the managers butt. They would rather listen and keep incompetent workers than to take advice from employees who knows how to resolve problems and get the job done. It's all political there and you have to constantly watch your back because someone is always trying to sabatoge you. So if your not a butt kisser and smart, don't work here. Lastly, this company is the most dirty and shadiest company to work for. Secret layoffs is yearly. Again, if you are not friends with the higher ups and if you are smart and not a yes person, you will be next to getting laid off.

      The vacation policy is good.

      Cons

      I worked at Nextgen for over 10 years. I absolutely loved my job at one point and I was good at it. There has been several management changes over the past 7 years the employees can't even keep up. The CEO continually is talking about how well Nextgen is doing as an organization. I have yet to see any improvements just lay offs. The clients they currently have are not getting the attention they need which is why they are losing them at a rapid pace. You have people in upper management positions that shouldn't be. When major concerns regarding accounts are brought to the attention of upper management they go in one ear and out the other. I can honestly say after 10 plus years with this organization being laid off was a gift.

      Pros

      Team comraderie is relatively good at this company. They provide industry education and it’s great to feel a part of the future of healthcare.

      Cons

      Many seem to manage up. Managers rarely care about the individuals they manage. Don’t expect to grow professionally. Employees rarely feel heard. Talent is not utilized. This is NOT a collaborative environment. Their culture is behind the times.
