Terrible place to be a doctor or patient

Pros

Benefits. Good nursing staff but being driven away in droves. Only pros are the execs are making a fortune yearly

Cons

Constant pressure to cut corners and increase revenue at expense of professionalism and quality of care. Administration treats doctors no differently than the most unskilled worker on an assembly line

Pros

Benefits, some good people working there.

Cons

A lot of favoritism if you "kiss up" and part of the clique in management. Management has people that don't belong in those positions. They tout themselves as being a Christian organization but bottom line is it is all about the almighty dollar. Lots of gossip and backstabbing within departments.

Pros

They let you live. I’ve seen them fire plenty of good people over the years but I haven’t seen anyone killed yet.

Cons

Patients are viewed as cash cows instead of human beings that need help. The focus is money, not health. Nurses are treated as expendable slaves. Even doctors are now owned, interchangeable commodities that punch clocks and meet quotas. If the public had any idea how their patients were viewed by the brass at Norton, they would be disgusted.
