Business Outlook
Pros
Many open shifts because of physician shortage because of poor physician support.
Cons
Frequent patient and facility compromises at all 12 locations where patients with chest pain or stroke symptoms are put back out into the waiting room, and either the CBC machine or X-Ray machine is down. Few well-trained medical assistants who were there for the patient and not concerned about their cell phones or getting out at 9 pm. Encouraged to see patients as fast as possible rather than giving superior patient care. Frequent long waits as a single provider at a center with 2 medical assistants than at centers with 2-3 doctors and 5-6 medical assistants, yet compared as equals when calculating work RVU's which determine yearly bonuses.
