- The hiring bar is relatively high, and the company is filled with interesting and competent people. - Company leadership has a strong vision and bold ideas, and are not afraid to take risks. - Company is very deliberate when hiring, each employee tends to have lots of ownership and autonomy - Problem space is huge - plenty of opportunity to grow with "low hanging fruit" work that's common at startups. - Competitive compensation and perks for a startup. Benefits are similar to big tech companies.

Cons

- Product and design is very top-down, and engineering is generally top-down on product teams and bottom-up on infra teams. - No annual bonus. - While the company is doing well financially, Enterprise SaaS is a very competitive industry.

- Notion's hiring bar is extremely high resulting in the people here being high performers - It awesome to work on a product that is so beloved by some many people - The in-person culture forms strong relationships with coworkers

- There is a 2-day in-person requirement that can be challenging for some but Notion goes above and beyond to make the office a place people want to go into.
