Pros

Management / leadership at the time was good. Really listened to employees and genuinely cared. Not sure how they are now.

Cons

Typical case management work. Over worked, underpaid. Average salary for the area. Nothing special pops out.

Pros

It is fulfilling work and at the end of the day I feel as though I've made a difference in someone's life.

Cons

Pay is extremely low, especially if you don't have an advanced degree. In some regions opportunity for advancement is next to impossible.

Pros

Fleixbility with work schedule. Employee benefits. Performance of the agency. Reputation of the agency in child welfare. Growing areas of coverage

Cons

Competence and job performance are not measured fairly in terms of promotional opportunities. Leadership will hire people who are not competent, even when favorable references are received. Friends of the leadership are instead hired. Staff members are not held acountable in a fair manner.
