Pros

able to work from home

Cons

too much gossip, intimidation tactics and bullying of people, one hour conference calls take time from outreach, talks indirectly on conference calls/meetings about other people or what they heard them do on a call instead of going directly to the person, passive aggressive and mean to outreach, outreach never feels heard, outreach team emailed all the time with negative emails and words typed in capital letters & shouting at them about what somebody did wrong and are NEVER told what they do right, nurses are treated like kings and queens while outreach are treated like 3/5ths of a person like they don't count, year after year during annual review you have to answer so many questions but never get a score that is worth the work you do, enrollments are stolen on a regular basis and telling leadership is a waste of time because they don't care, nurses can be totally rude to outreach, say they are not available for a call when they just don't want to take the call, and sometimes don't respond to IMs to speak with members who want to enroll, and can basically do what they want causing the company to lose money because they are nurses. yet, it's outreachs fault for not getting the monthly goal because of the enrillment calls the nurses won't take, call back, or follow up to get the agreement. nurses get flowers on their birthdays and on nurses day, while outreach gets nothing, &thisshows favoritism and how little they are valued

Pros

Great career opportunity for self motivated nurses. Gives you the benefit of working with your members for up to a year and allows you to see their progression and improvement through the program.

Cons

If you have a personality that requires you to give hands on care, this position may be difficult because patient relationships are strictly telephonic
