      Pros

      +Excellent people +Nice perks (free snacks, ice cream, etc) +Good location (Houston office) +Good products with satisfied customers +Growth company that's doing very well financially +Excellent internship programs +Culture and values are great

      Cons

      -Extremely disorganized -Senior management are very reactive and never follow through with a plan -Compensation not very competitive -Little room to grow; still a small company at heart -Lack of communication between groups -Difficulty making decisions -Internal politics becoming a big problem -Expect employees to work long hours; poor work/life balance -Very high turnover

      Lot of talk and drum beating to attract investors, final results are a joke. Look at profit, revenue and P/E.

      Pros

      Very rigiorous interview process for Developers (only). New technologies being tested all the time. Free drinks and chips and candies.

      Cons

      Very few leaders. CEO has a good vision, but dictatorial. Has some close buddies whom he promoted soley to have total control over all departments. Every other person is a VP or director. It is quite common to have a layer of 3 or 4 VPs reporting to each other. Lot of glitter from the outside to attract good talent, who will like it for a while until they realize things are different. Development Team is the strongest both in quality and politics.CEO was from that department so they take all decisions about the product and the product mangement team is basically a group of note takers.

      Pros

      Fast-growing company with very talented people. Great team spirit. Everyone I've worked with is pushing hard for the success of the company. Top Management is very involved with their employees and every aspect of the business. They are always asking everyone - "What can I do to help." This is not the same company of 4 years ago prior to going public.

      Cons

      Growing so fast that sometimes the processes are not up to speed with the growth. However, with the talent PROS has, the workarounds and solutions are usually not far behind. Sometimes there is insane pressure and time demands - but the positive is that the work is always appreciated and well compensated!
