Pros

Great cultural, you get to work with awesome experts, lots of learning opportunities. They treat you like a family.

Cons

Not for everyone :) this is a real fast paced company. If you are a hard working person that can keep up with all projects and have time management skills, you’d love working here. Otherwise you burn out fast.

Pros

The people i get to work with are great! They’re smart, talented and overall, easy to work with.

Cons

Don’t be fooled by all of the glowing reviews. We are asked to write them to make the company look better. The truth is that the top executives are all good buddies & most of them have worked together a long time. They look out for each other & it’s fine to be ineffective, because if you’re in the club, it’s all good. In my 10 years here, I’ve watched senior leaders do mediocre work & get moved to other, bigger roles. HR is a great example. The leader has been in several other roles and knows nothing about HR and the department is in turmoil, but he’s in the club. He’s not going anywhere, no matter what he does. There are others, as well. Meanwhile, other good leaders that aren’t in the club don’t go anywhere. The favoritism is blatant and takes away from an otherwise great culture.

Pros

Work-life balance is the most important thing for me! I am working in great and very supportive team. My manager is always behind me and in the same time is giving me the opportunity to lead my work alone. I am proud to be part of this organization!

Cons

As I am located in Sofia and I am working with Huston office, sometimes the time difference is a challenge.

So far so good!

Pros

As a job coming out of college, PROS is a good starter place to work at. It can also be a good place to have a career. Very diverse and inclusive. Average benefits. The work itself is niche as you always deal with their custom pricing front-end apps, but within and backend it can test your technical knowledge (scripting, sql, some programming) and communication skills with customers. Due to Corona, Professional Services has gone WFH, so if your a selective introvert, there is that.

Cons

Training is very sink or swim. Early on is a quick 2ish week program, and supplementary Computer-Based Training about the products. If you aren't very technical, slow on the uptake, and don't know how to ask for help, you will get left behind (or get dumped on the QE team at best). You do get to shadow someone, but majority of the time they are always busy. When it comes to salary, it is below market what my degree should starts at, and also a bit below market other Consultant/Analyst type jobs my friends have landed. WFH can make you feel stranded. My light bill has gone up almost two-fold since staying home. At least provide a credit for our Internet bill like you do Cell phone service!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!

Pros

Interview Process It was very considerate and respectful of interviewees' time. From the coordination of my phone & in-person interviews to the job offer, it took a total of 3 weeks. The in-person interview took most of my day (9a - 1p) and every 30 minutes, I interviewed with different levels of PROS employees (newly hired to senior management). This allowed me to see and experience the PROS culture in an authentic and unbiased way. I was very impressed with my interview experience and weighed heavily on my decision to accepted their job offer. Onboarding/Orientation I 've had several onboarding/orientation experiences in my professional career, however, PROS' onboarding/orientation has been the best by far. I'm honored and proud to be apart of PROS' largest new hire onboarding/orientation class (35 new hires total). Onboarding/orientation was organized, intentional, engaging, informative, relaxed and what really impressed me was that our work laptops were configured, distributed and ready for us to use during orientation. Benefits The benefits offered are superior to all of my previous organizations and competitive to other organizations in similar industries. I'm especially impressed with the career path planning support, 401K match, HSA medical, Trusted Time Off (salaried employees only), relaxed and comfortable working environment (jeans & sneakers), the ability to work from home weekly, pet insurance and of course, unlimited soft drinks, juices, and snacks. PROS truly appears to be an employee-centric employer who considers the employee's work-life balance in a tangible way. I looking forward to professional growth and a long career with PROS. #lifeatpros

Pros

PROS functions more like a startup although it is a big size company. It has all the great features of a startup like the innovative technologies they use and the fast pace but at the same time they help maintain a good work life balance. What amazes me is that every VP upto the CTO knows every employee by name and track their career progression.

Cons

You could get used to working here and never want to leave.

Pros

Free snacks, free drinks, free extra lunch from meetings all the time, quarterly company sponsored happy hour, company sponsored team outing, PROS will also move into a brand new office space this year. Lots of diversity groups that are constantly involved in the community. Work with tons of smart people that support each other who are positive and encouraging 401k match, generous PTO maternity leave, sick time, Employee company stock purchase at a discount, laptops and flexible work life balance CEO is genuinely a good person who personally helped pick up employees who were stranded during Harvey!

Cons

Politics and uneven workload distribution in certain groups. HR could see some improvements, for example when we changed HSA provider employees have to submit the paperwork themselves when this can easily be done automatically through HR on a more mature system.
