Healthcare Company that doesn't care about healthcare
Pros
There are some really nice and amazing people that I've met and worked with here from the outcome health side.
Cons
Endless cons since PatientPoint merged with Outcome Health, these are a handful of the most disappointing. They demoted the majority of the Outcome Health employees from salaried to hourly positions without notification until a month after the change had already occurred and never notified anyone their new hourly pay. Another very weak point is Diversit y, Equity, and Inclusion. Outcome Health had an active DEI council and PatientPoint made a point to disband that immediately after the merger. In May, an employee asked about what the plans for Pride Month in June and the CEO responded by saying they would let us know in Q4. To commemorate Pride Month they requested we add pronouns into our email signatures and 8 months later I haven't seen more than a handful with pronouns. The overall “merger” efforts have also been very confusing. Almost a year later majority of the processes have failed to integrate. Management is almost entirely from patient point and they are heavy emphasis on micromanagement while increasing everyone’s work-load without hiring. Outcome Health was transparent and that has been something that has really dwindled away- mid- upper management constantly changing processes with no feedback from those doing the job. They do not prioritize the health and safety of their employees. The lack of COVID protocols proposed for the return to office is embarrassing and possibly down right dangerous. The CEO has been spouting how excited he has been to return to the office since last summer and was allowing employees to go back into the office starting last fall with no covid protection. At first there was no vaccine requirement until OSHA proposed it for businesses of this size, and once that happened they said their hands were tied and blamed the Biden admin for this move and constantly pushed people to apply for either “medical or religious” exceptions immediately. Masks are still not required for the office return, unvaccinated employees only have to be tested weekly and with no specified test type, there are no details on the enhanced cleaning efforts other than “there will be daily cleaning”, and the return to office is full speed ahead. Overall this has been a really disappointing experience over the past year and this was a job that at first I really enjoyed and would have considered staying at if not for how things have been handled after the acquisition. All this on top of outdated internal systems. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
