Pros

I can only share my experience within the Denver business unit as cultures can vary across teams where some of the negative reviews might be coming from. The team is a fun group of people that are supportive in everyone succeeding with their respective customers. Management has a truly open door policy to share how your feeling and ensure you're understood and taken care of. Compensation is good for the area and has a very flat management structure so rewards aren't based on arbitrary responsibility increases but real promotions and benefits. The work is interesting but honestly a coin flip on where you might get put within a respective customers organization. Would highly recommend, one of the best places Ive ever worked.

Cons

Diversity of opportunities is based on what companies purchase consulting services so you could potentially be on some very long term programs (3-5years) or not have a variety of options on where you might want to be working.

Pros

Flexible hours Very intelligent team mates, you really get to learn ALOT if you are eager and put yourself out there Good compensation

Cons

I honestly thought I would have the opportunity to grow my career with Perficient. Unfortunately, I ended up getting a rude awakening once our project ended and we all hit the bench. Bench time was a question that I specifically asked during the interview process and was told that they do a good job of supporting employees, because they understand that things happen with projects. This was not the case because less than 2 weeks after we hit the bench, a number of us ended up getting laid off. I really fought hard to see if there were any internal tasks I could work on until management figured things out but they weren't having it. The work culture for this company took a negative turn in recent months because they seem concerned about generating revenue which is great, but really do not value VERY smart employees. Also, the company seems very "top heavy". Everyone is a "Director", but no one really has adequate insight on finding ways to improve the practice. Very disappointed with the outcome of this company.

Pros

-Sometimes work from home. Dont fall for fake reviews

Cons

Confused!, Everybody from Directors to GMs and HRs. Stuck with growth. Lack of business ethics and compassion for employees. Few GMs and Higher Management are worried about stocks and their cut. You will be a mere BILLABLE headcount- nothing else. They will fire you once you hit the bench. EVEN FOR A DAY. HEALTH insurance and PTOs are sub standard. DONT GET tapped in their bonus component. Few of my colleagues were laid off when they kept saying Pipeline was GOOD. Morale is low among employees, Most of them are planning to quit than focus on work.
