The company is getting bigger, and some can see this as a con. However, it is growing in a structured manner which is good.

Pros

The office space is nice, coworkers are fun and friendly. The company is growing fast so there are many opportunities to change your current role and try something new. Engineering uses some pretty fascinating technologies. Loads of talented and smart people that have flooded in from other tech companies on the market. Overall, it's a nice place to work.

Cons

The company has this set of values which they pride themselves over. They seem a bit artificial since I do not feel most of the employees actually follow them and even managers go against what they should be preaching. Mostly though it's this fanatic attitude of 'we are the best company ever' which gets annoying over time since people start to lose the sense of reality of what is this company really worth on a global scale. You can witness this by endless comparisons with other tech companies, mostly in the context where the other companies are somehow stupid, backwards thinking, use old technologies, lame etc. Making fun of them in Slack chats and even large meetings is a hobby. I find this kind of attitude condescending, arrogant and childish. As many startups, things can be a bit chaotic at times, but I guess that can be a pro and a con at the same time, depending on your preference. They are also a bit stingy when it comes to benefits - no sports compensation, no on call money, you will find out about your stock options only after the probation period.

I like working here. Great colleagues, great office, great company culture. Interesting and challenging work. Extremely important to me: family friendly (no work expected outside business hours).

Cons

Can’t think of any cons in my position really.
